Gerald Suarez Kicks Off International EMBA Conference in Barcelona!
October 30 – November 2, 2005

The faculty representatives to the EMBA Council Conference Committee worked around the clock to organize an exciting Faculty Networking Event in order to ensure that faculty members participating in the Dare to Be Different conference would have the opportunity to find each other, meet and discuss relevant issues in an engaging setting and set the stage for the rest of the week.
The event was kicked off by a dynamic and galvanizing 45 minute presentation entitled: “Creating the Future First: Living and Learning in a Sate of Possibility” given by Dr. J. Gerald Suarez from the Robert H. Smith School of Business,
University of Maryland, USA.
The presentation focused on an innovative and systemic planning methodology that allows for the design of highly interactive, flexible, and agile organizational structures and programs that respond to challenges and trends (e.g. political, economic, technological) while maintaining stability and preserving academic and corporate relevancy. Gerald’s presentation was followed by an open round table discussion.
The Executive MBA council was most appreciative of Dr. Suarez’s participation and attendees were captivated by Gerald’s enthusiastic style. Thank you, Dr. Suarez!
