Cairo, Egypt
November 2004
During 16-22 March 2006 Gerald visited Cairo, Egypt to lecture and support the creation of a new model for career education leading to employment opportunities in the Islamic World. The Islamic University of Gaza, the prestigious Consolidated Contractors International Company and the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland teamed up in a pioneering effort to bring business education to a selected group of faculty members. Gerald’s lecture on Education a Viewed System resonated with Faculty and Administrator alike. His contribution influenced the design of an accelerated MBA program expected to provide career opportunities to graduates in the Islamic region. The Education for Employment Foundation prides itself with drawing on the best educational expertise in the international community and is committed to provide first-rate education, training, and managerial skills to individuals, regions and countries in the global economy. Gerald was honored to be involved in this relevant initiative and proud to help advance education opportunities that will serve as catalyst for economic and social development.
